Nishinomiya Shrine, Nishinomiya

Make a wish at Nishinomiya Shrine, the chief Shinto shrine for the deity of good fortune and experience its gardens and carp pond. You will join over 1.5 million visitors who pray for the success of their business and safety of their families over New Year's Day. Some 6,000 of them also take part in the annual "lucky race" to the temple in search of good luck. This temple boasts some 3,500 subordinate Shinto shrines. The area is known for sake production; you may get a chance to sample some, as occasional sake festivals are held in the shrine. • Needless to say, the total headquarters of The Shrimp in the whole country district. It is usually very, very peaceful and sparse, but many people come when there is an event once. The great thing about this shrine is that there are many drunken events a year. Nishinomiya is a place to drink, but the sake you drink in the precincts is the best!

  • It is Ebisu-sama who is famous in Fukuo. I'm visiting you so that your business is thriving. I also received a red seal so that there is a profit.

  • Awesome place! It's a gorgeous shrine about a seven minute walk from the station. It's definitely worth the time to check out, especially at the end of September. The shrine has a huge festival and the portable shrine is taken out for a walk around Osaka.
  • Wet beautiful shrine in Hyogo. It’s one of the most gorgeous shrines in Japan as well. This shrine is called Nishinomiya Ebisu, one of the shrines whose name includes “Ebisu”, that empowers business people and make their business more successful. That’s why this shrine is so crowed in January every year! You should definitely visit there. A lot of food carts on the street, a lot of energetic people and energetic atmosphere. You can try so many delicious food on the street and be totally full!! You won’t regret! Just come visit and experience real Japanese culture!!
