MOIWA is well known throughout Niseko as a ski resort with historical roots going back as far as 1919. There weren't any ski lifts at the time, and skiers would climb the mountain for many hours because of the exceptional snow quality, abundant snowfall, and small yet wide ranging course. Furthermore, MOIWA boasts a stunning view of its vast surrounding: the beauty of Mount Yōtei is particularly breathtaking on a clear day.Using our custom trip planner, Niseko-cho attractions like Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.
This exceptional location, abundant in nature, has charmed many visitors over the years, and it officially opened as Niseko MOIWA Ski Resort in 1966. Since then, MOIWA has been loved not only by the locals but also by fans all over Japan and the world as the ultimate powder snow resort. In recent years, many Australian and European skiers and snowboarders have come to adore this “ski slope with a feeling of privacy.”
MOIWA has been able to avoid large-scale resort development, and the beautiful scenery you can see today is virtually the same as days of yore. The warm hospitality of the staff and the kindness of the many locals who love this mountain has remained the same as always. This is the very special charm of MOIWA, a place that has been loved by many generations.
Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort Reviews
more »Speaking of Niseko, It is Annunpuri of hirafu. However, there is a enjoyment which is not in the spec in this moiwa. The customers are mostly white foreigners. The enjoyment of the backcountry is no.1 in Niseko, and is that the best in Japan? No, does it become the best in the world? In addition, the lift ticket of The Moon, if i can slip for four hours, it is 2,800 yen. If you're a senior, it's 2,100 yen. It is a ski resort that I do not want you to close absolutely because you may raise the price.

The resort is pretty small and fairly unsteep slopes. But they got pretty easy access to some nice off piste routes (beginner to intermediate). And you could easily switch to Annapuri. Great thing: they got some got tunes from their speakers on the lifts
It's small but if it gets deep, it's less crowded than Niseko itself and for us it was more fun there. The tree lines are a world class!
