Set in a modern, Western-style, Meiji-period building, the museum also boasts a large collection of paintings, scrolls, calligraphy, sutras, mandalas, and masks, telling an informative story about Buddhism itself. • The Shosoin exhibition is held at Nara National Museum from the end of October to the middle of November every year. The Shosoin Bunmono on display is under the jurisdiction of the Imperial Household Agency and there is no national treasure (heavy text). However, the exhibition is a valuable exhibition to see at least once in a lifetime because the exhibition is only a cultural object of the national treasure (more). (The only exception is the Shosoin (the building built in the school hall) where the literature is stored, and only this building is designated as a national treasure. The Shosoin exhibition is basically to be burned into your heart by looking at your own eyes, but you can enjoy watching it more happily when you bring your glasses. Because the literary thing is an elaborately made art work, it is good to purchase the figure and watch it at home when observing it with the naked eye (small whisper of the cultural object, the influence of the presbyopia), but it is also good to buy the figure and watch it at home, but because it sees the real thing, it is also impressive when you appreciate it with a monocular. In addition, please choose about three to five times the monocular. The high magnification looks large, but the camera shake becomes large and handling is difficult. Once you have finished viewing the Shosoin Exhibition, you can understand the Nara period more deeply by visiting the national treasures of Shosoin and Todaiji Temple. Then, please enjoy the breath of Nara through The Shosoin.

  • I go to see the Shosoin exhibition held in autumn once a year. During the day, we had a lot of trouble getting in the bus tour and other groups, and there was a long line and we had a hard time entering. The aim is friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays evening, which is open until 20:00. I went there around 17:00 this year, but it was easy to buy tickets, and the entrance was also Swiss. There is an Autumn Late Ticket for admission from 18:30, and it usually costs 800 yen at 1,100 yen for a ticket on the day, but there was a large queue to buy a ticket. There is also a target of it, but ... I recommend that you pay 1,100 yen and enter in the evening if you can.
