  • When you enter the main gate, you can see a lot of boulders, and the lantern sat about five meters. Further deeper, the garden around the building, which was used as a rest area to welcome Emperor Meiji and empress, and later as a guest house, is wonderful. The view from the room with the throne on the second floor was guided by the staff when the garden was seen most beautifully. When you go upstairs on the stairs, you will see the scenery of the impression. You can see the throne of the room, the picture, etc. up close with the garden. Tourists are only for us. It was a time of bliss to enjoy the quiet and solemn atmosphere. There is also a place to sit in the large room on the first floor, where you can sit in the garden and admire the beautiful garden. Slippers were also available so that you could go down to the garden and see it. Unfortunately, i couldn't go outside because it was raining. The parking lot was convenient because the parking lot of Toyo park was free for three hours and it was about 5 minutes on foot. Admission is 300 yen. I visited both the railway museum across the street, so there was a ticket of 500 yen.

  • This garden is built in preparation for the King's March during the Meiji period. The garden is beautiful, as it was built in preparation for the king's trip. It's a typical Japanese garden that's not particularly glamorous or huge, but it's well-constructed. Light-up at night makes the atmosphere more special, so if you like light-up, it's a good idea to visit at night.

  • A gorgeous Japanese garden with bonsai exhibit. Although small the entrance fee is pretty cheap and at least when I went is was relatively empty. I was able to view the bonsai from multiple angles and take plenty of pictures of the garden proper from the second floor viewing terrace. Don't be afraid to take it all in and just enjoy the view for a bit.
  • I've visited the garden during the bonsai exhibition. Beautiful and very peaceful plus it's included in the tourist pass of Nagahama. A great deal
