Suginohara, Myoko

#1 of 14 in Parks in Myoko
Ski Area · Outdoor Activity
Boasting the longest ski run in Japan, measuring 8.5 km (5.3 mi), Suginohara tops Mount Myoko as a great all-round skiing resort. Enjoy jumps and jibs on tricky trails, fast and efficient lifts, and little queuing. Combining well-kept and non-groomed areas, the resort provides many options for beginners and intermediate skiers with fabulous, picturesque views and plenty of eating options. With excellent skiing and boarding, the tree-lined slopes also offer a few off-piste runs. Two high-speed chairs and a gondola provide an efficient enough service to avoid crowding, and a shuttle bus to a nearby village provies easy access.
