  • This is just a small shrine in a residential area, but worth a visit for history buffs and people interested in ancient legends. Next to the main hall stand three giant stones. They looked to me like an ancient grave where the dirt had washed away, but there's no capstone. A legend says that a god chained a demon to the stones, in which it left handprints. This is supposedly the origin of the prefecture name Iwate, which means 'stone hand'.
  • It is a shrine of theater talk became the origin of the Iwate Prefecture. With hand-shaped vows for demon is a small shrine, but that referred to a shrine there is a rock. To look for if you are interested in and might be fun. But the difficulty is high... that more do not know (laughs). In addition, Sansa dance held prior to so doing events.
