  • Definitely a place worth a visit. No photography is allowed. The ancient caves outside the temple seem interesting. It can be a very pleasant walk on the way to the temple. There's another sidewalk on the right of the temple that has several eateries and shops. This museum showcase the history of the temple. • A historical temple, you can take a short and round trip outside for free or paid for 700 yen to enter this tiny temple. Expect to take shoe off ( they have slippers for visitors, worry not ) for the main temple, and photography inside of several building are forbidden. In walking distance to both train station, so you can come to here from Sendai station with ease (about 40+ minutes on trains)
