  • The cherry blossom trees are still in bloom here and there are many different varieties of cherry blossoms. Beautiful. Visited on 10 May 2019.
  • Matsumae Castle is the northernmost castle in Japan and was the first such stronghold built in Hokkaido. Although the current building is a reconstruction, the structure and the castle grounds are no less beautiful.
