  • JR trains don't go to Koyasan. The Kansai Thru Pass took us there from Osaka. The cable car was include din the pass. it was fun to travel that far, and we had a superb day.  more »
  • If you go to Koyasan (which we recommend), you will almost certainly arrive by funicular, which you catch from the station. Once at the top, you HAVE to take the coach into town as part of the road...  more »
