  • The Rokko-Shidare Observatory in Kobe, Japan is designed by architect Hiroshi Sambuichi. ¥300 admission. It is lit up in different colors base on season. Access can be a bit challenging in the winter (drive or take the bus b/c cable cars may not be available due to weather condition). At the same time, very few visitors so you can have the amazing scenery of Kobe from Mt. Rokko all to yourself :)
