  • The Science museum of water is a water-related museum located a 15-minute walk from the Kobe Subway "Prefectural Government". When I walked around the area in February, I visited it for the first time in a long time. The entrance was free of charge during the consecutive holidays in February. This science museum is a wonderful stone building designed by Kozo Kawai in 1917. It is a registered tangible cultural property of the country. It's worth a look. In the park, there was a statue of Don Quixote and Sanchopanza.

  • A water-themed museum in Kobe city. You can see an interesting exhibit that isn't that wide. I think that it is good to visit if it is near.

  • It is explained to the children a little more than the child, but it is a museum to study enough for children. You can learn the importance of water. Even on weekdays, the admission fee is 200 yen for adults and it is a lot of free days such as Saturdays and Sundays. There are many events for children in the hotel, so you can spend time without getting bored. If the weather is nice, you can also have a picnic in the square. There is no parking, so you need to use public transport. It is recommended to use the bus because it is necessary to walk to a little mountain (north) from the railway station such as Kobe Station and Kenchomae.

  • The event dates are free of charge. Because the parking lot is for the handicapped, I recommend going by bus. From Sannomiya Station (bus stop in front of Sogo), you can see the entrance as soon as you get off at Kusutani-cho by 7 buses. There are many things to learn about the exhibits in the Science Museum. I was able to show the experiment, and let me study a lot. The building seems to be making use of the one made as part of the water purification plant in 1917, and it is the one with the value as the building.
