Good place to visit with kids

One of my favorite places in Oita! Highly recommend it if you like walks around big bodies of water. I think it's about 4km around. Depends on the path you take. There are 3 playgrounds but only 2 are worth mentioning. Both are fun for the children. There is a nice path around the lake BUT for some odd reason they do not allow bikes everywhere on the path. Some places you can bike. Some you can't. And they rent bikes here! Strange. You cannot swim here but they have some of those duck/swan boats you can rent. Lots of people fishing here. If it's too hot or too cold outside you can head to the indoor botanical garden or indoor children's play area. Some tables for parents/adults to relax at. They have a small fast food restaurant inside but choices are limited. Lots of free parking outside. Bring a shade tent if you plan to visit during the summer. Most seating areas are not covered.
