Trip Planner:   Asia  /  Japan  /  Kinki  /  Osaka Prefecture  /  Osaka  /  Kita  /  Kids Plaza Osaka
Take the kids to Kids Plaza Osaka, a museum aimed squarely at children, helping them learn through play. Across five themed floors, the museum has kids climbing on surreal structures designed by Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasse, teaching to play weird and wonderful musical instruments from around the world, or becoming police or postal workers in the make-believe town on the fourth floor. You can find plenty more activities on site, and although there is no cafeteria, you're welcome to bring a packed lunch, or can come and go as you please during the visit by showing your pass. • There is a lot of room, there is a very long slide slide can slide to 1, there is a chair of the activity, so that children can feel the same as the difficulties of the disabled friends. Most of the puzzles that can't read Japanese are still playable.

  • It is conveniently located just a few steps from Ogimachi Station. It is possible to play with the play equipment, and children are very satisfied because it is possible to do various things like putting on the chimachogori, playing with the bubble, shopping, and so on. There is also a freshness burger in the vicinity, but i think it is easier to play because you can eat it inside if you take a bento.

  • I highly recommend this place for people with kids. Especially on those rainy or cold days, and the kids have too much energy to burn. There are a lot of things to do, and even the parents can enjoy playing with their kids. Unfortunately, it isn't free, so be ready to pay. The Plaza is located relatively close to the station and us inside a TV station building so it may look a bit odd. When you enter the building , it seems a bit boring and not much going on, but when you head to the forth floor, that's when the fun starts. In the building there are both fun and educational items which is one of the reasons I love it for my kids. I wasn't able to tour the whole play area as it was pretty big, and I had to catch a train. I recommend people to take sanitation wipes or gels because a lot of people are touching a lot of things, and you don't know what they have.
  • A real good place to take the kids. Highly interactive and fun.
