  • It is a dam along the Tokachi River along the road from Ikeda Town to Otosara Town. The trees grow on the lakeside and become a beautiful autumn leaves spot in autumn. Some places are not accessible due to typhoon damage, but it is one of the spots where you can see beautiful autumn leaves along the river.

  • Along the road No. 73 connecting Obihiro and Ikeda, a sign of "Chiyoda Tsutsumi" appears. It was built as a paddy irrigation facility in the Chiyoda area of Ikeda Town in the middle of the Tokachi River in 1935, and later used for water intake of fish for salmon trout, and is now a fishing ground for eggs collected. From the middle of September to the end of October, you can see a large amount of salmon going up the Tokachi River and their climb jumps, so I looked at them with my eyes, but it seemed to be a little early. It's the largest in Hokkaido.
