The biggest fish market in the city, Hasshoku Center exudes a retro vibe and charm while supplying the freshest seafood in the area. See octopuses hanging from the stalls, shark heads looking a bit intimidating, and all sorts of shells, crabs, and fish. The market also provides an onsite charcoal barbeque, so you can prepare your own meal if you'd rather skip the area's restaurants. You can also find alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages here, including various sorts of sake. Make Hasshoku Center part of your personalized Hachinohe itinerary using our Hachinohe journey planner.

This is a place where you can buy fresh seafood and grilled it onsite. It’s a interesting and rustic experience, but sometimes it’s hard to know how to cook the seafood. more »
You can grill seafood which you bought in market and have nice meal. 350yen per person for seats. Nice atmosphere. BBQ set is around 1500yen and this can be for serving 2 persons. There is rice, soup and beers etc too. Reasonable pricing. There is also some restaurant too. Many shops for seafoods and also vegetables, beers, tea and instant food too. Absolutely worth to go there as tourism or for daily lunch or dinner.
lots of delicious nummies. there are restaurants that open past 5-6pm, and while the market looks completely closed, the restaurants are open and the lights can only be seen from the back road.
