  • A nice shrine in some beautiful scenery, worth visiting if you make the walk up Asuwayama. Easiest to visit by car. Best to visit in the Spring or the Fall, to see the cherry blossoms and red/orange.....  more »
  • The date of its founding is unknown, but according to the company's biography, it is a shikiuchi shrine that is said to have originated when Emperor Tsujitai enshrined Omiya Jinore in the land of Ashiwa. It is the oldest shrine in Fukui Prefecture where Emperor Tsujitai and Omiya Jinore are enshrined as the main deity. In spring, beautiful verusers bloom. The god crest is a rare crest of Sanko that combines the sun, moon, and the pattern of the North Star.
