  • The Bussankan is located by the sea and is lit up at night and is beautiful. At the entrance of the building (front side side), there is a vending machine of Coca-Cola of nostalgic bottle, and there is a nostalgic atmosphere. There are a lot of souvenirs of Aomori, so it is very convenient to buy souvenirs. Also, next to the front entrance, freshly baked apple pie was sold and the line was constant because it smelled good.

  • This is one of the centers in the city to get around from, it is more than just a tourist office, it has bus information and an office for other parts of the Aomori area.  more »

  • The inside feels older than the outside. On first floor, there are shops selling Aomori apple pies and other souvenirs. On 2nd floor, there's the tourist information centre. I asked some questions about an event but I didn't get a convincing answer. There are some seats upstairs with nice view.
  • The tourist information is located on the ground floor of the building that looks like a huge triangle. There are maps and info on Aomori city and the whole prefecture, what to do and where to visit. You can take the brochures with you. There is also info on what this prefecture is famous for and exhibits shown of laquerware pottery, textile design and other interesting products manufactured here.
