The only river draining Lake Towada, Oirase River features many rapids and waterfalls running through a forest. At a height of 25 m (75 ft), Kumoi Falls are the highest. Take a walk along streams with many cascades and views of the volcanic lake in the upper part of the river. Many people recommend the 14 km (8 mi) hike, which provides good photo opportunities of natural elements. Virgin forests in the area feature white cedar, Japanese beech, and maple trees.   • Great time with the wife visiting the waterfalls. Very easy to access and well maintained walkways and roads.  more »
  • It is a very good river, but it is very rough by the take-home of a small fish of the bait angler who does not have the fishing ticket, and the angler from outside the prefecture though it is a very 🎶. I want you to be sure to catch and release.
