  • The Brembana Valley cycle route connects Bergamo to Brembana Square and loops along the old railway route. The total length is about 38 kilometers. The first part passes through the suburb of Borgo Santa Caterina passes through the park of the Hills arriving at the municipality of Almè. The section from Almè to Zogno is being defined as a cycle path. (Recommended left side path in the Imagna valley passing through the municipalities of Almenno San Salvatore, Ubiale Clanezzo, Sedrina and Zogno). From Zogno starts the perhaps most frequented route internally paved and with all the illuminated galleries ending at Brembana Square that follows the old railway route.

  • A unique experience in a unique place, pedaling without major problems on the railway route from Zogno to Brembana Square is a pleasure that deserves acclaim to those who had this magnificent idea and realized it. The old well-preserved railway stations and hand-dug tunnels give the tour a pleasant leap into the past and the nature around you gives you the right dose of serenity that will allow you to tackle the few climbs. Along the way it's worth a stop and a visit to the Ferdy farmhouse, a happy bucolic island along the banks of the Brembo.
