  • Everything is clearly marked and explained. So much to see but at the end we weren't exhausted because it was amazing. One of the statues we enjoyed was Chiron teaching music to Achilles. We enjoyed h...  more »
  • We enjoyed the visit but are not art experts and found the range of styles limited to keep our interest. Certainly go if you like religious and 15th/16th century art but otherwise perhaps one to miss.  more »

  • Do not get the audio guide! It was absolutely ridiculous. One of the commentaries literally only described the name of a painting and the artist of another artwork beside it. This information was already next to the artworks and entirely unnecessary if that was all it was going to provide. Many artworks did not have commentary, only a few so this was especially aggravating. Aside from that, many artworks that had numbers for the audio guide, upon typing it into the guide, it said that there was no commentary. Something I can't complain too much about however is that much of the art gallery was closed for renovations.
  • Beautiful collection of art. However it could be a bit easier to get round. We found ourselves frequently doubling back for large amounts of the exhibition and wondering if we'd missed any.
  • Incredibly beautiful gallery with some fine pieces of Christian artwork on display. I particularly enjoyed the Hieronymus Bosch paintings. We got there about 9.30am on a Sunday in late June and it was very quiet but filled up quickly.
  • Fantastic gallery in Venice. Wonderful permanent exhibits of classic works of arts by the masters. Beautiful building along the Grand Canal. A must see!!
  • No cafe. Decent toilets. Lots of Venetian art as you would expect. It is arranged sensibly.
