Bagni Alberoni, Venice

#10 of 28 in Parks in Venice
Beach · Hidden Gem · Beach / Pool Club
Nestled at the southern tip of the island and surrounded by a pine forest and white sand dunes, Bagni Alberoni takes you back with its striped deckchairs, umbrellas, and beach huts. Never as crowded as Lido's main beaches, the long strip of sand remains a favorite bathing spot among locals. Onsite amenities include a beach club, laid-back bar, and upscale restaurant serving traditional Venetian seafood dishes, such as homemade spaghetti with mussels and clams. The beach features as the location of Visconti's classic film, "Death in Venice." On weekends, you can catch some live music here.
