Santu Antine is one of the largest nuraghe in Sardinia. The main structure was built around the 19-18th century BC, and the other parts of the nuraghe date back to the 17-15th century BC. The main tower originally reached a height of 23-24 metres.Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Torralba trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.
Near the Nuraghe lie the remains of a Nuragic village.

The third was removed to use the stones elsewhere. It was probably used to guard and trade the goods.
Nuraghe particolare, diverso dagli altri della Sardegna. Devo ammettere che la visita vale la pena farla, è veramente affascinante. Sito molto pulito e curato more »Nuraghe particular, different from the others of Sardinia. I must admit that the visit is worth making, it is really fascinating. Very clean and well-groomed site
Despite our Lonely Planet Sardina guide stating that a English speaker guide was available, there wasn't one, so left to look around by ourselves. Amazing place but no real signage or explanations which meant we very nearly missed the chance to climb the main tower as the entrance looked insignificant. One of the best sites we have looked around on this holiday. The engineering shown to build is on a par with the pyramids, and is completely amazing when you look at what they have done, just wish more of an explanation had been provided on how it was built
It is a bit expensive because there is not much to see but still an impressive place and the atmosphere is nice inside the building, we liked it and it was not too touristy even though we were there in August.
