With a backdrop of rocky cliffs and a wealth of opportunities for aquatic activities, it's no surprise that La Solara stands as one of the area's most popular beaches. The extensive stretch of soft sand makes for plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the sun. Alternatively, bring your swimsuit and hit the ocean, as the surrounding coves and rocky outcroppings are ideal for snorkeling and paddling alike. Try hiking around the nearby shoreline, and you may even discover some of the region's famous--yet understated--Roman ruins. Nearby food and drink options let you refuel after your time on the shore. Put La Solara into our Sorrento road trip planning site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

The magic of Sorrento here blends with beautiful places that give wonderful emotions. Vines, olive trees and lemons keep you company on the country road that crosses to get there. The scent of nature here is something extraordinary!
Un bel posto con una bella vista. Noi siamo arrivati a piedi. Dopo una bella camminata si arriva a vedere un bel panorama. Consigliato per un bella giornata di mare. more »A nice place with a nice view. We arrived on foot. After a nice walk you get to see a beautiful view. Recommended for a nice day at sea.
Amazing view - I recommend going at sunset for a beautiful light and a picturesque scene. However, the music is very commercial and the service is extremely slow. The cocktails aren't particularly impressive and one of our drinks didn't even come. Overall, the place is only worth the view as the restaurant is below average, but the restaurant is incredibly well placed.
A wonderful adventure walking over to this spot. Make sure to pop in for a swim in the watering hole on the way, a little easier to swim in than the ocean which can sometimes be a little rough. Beautiful fresh food & a view unlike anything else!
