Nearly 5 km (2 mi) long and covered in white sand, Spiaggia La Cinta is one of Sardinia's premier coastal areas. Go for a dip in the shallow water of the lagoon, which is completely free of rocks and protected from the Mediterranean surf by spits and breakwaters. The area is bordered by sand dunes, mountains, and forested slopes that overlook the sea. You can rent lounge chairs and beach supplies, as well as sailboards, surfboards, and boats.     My favourite beach in north Sardinia! Breathtaking even in the rain. Be careful when reaching the swamp on the other side, the smell is something else!
