  • The waterfall of Calabuia is located in the vicinity of Castagno D'Andrea, a village that comes along the national road 67 Tosco Romagnola, seven Km. Beyond S. Godenzo: From here you go to the right, while on the left you would reach the Passo del Muraglione. Castagno D'Andrea is one of the gateway to the National Park of Monte Falterona, Campigna and Casentino forests and is a popular holiday resort. The village is known for having given birth to the great painter Andrea del Castagno. The waterfall of Calabuia is actually formed by two waterfalls: to reach the first one follows a path of the CAI, while to reach the second, located further downstream, you have to pay attention because you go down a steep and slippery path.
