  • Benedictine Abbey of Viboldone, a hamlet of San Giuliano Milanese. Gothic-Romanesque. Paintings and frescoes from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Medieval Construction started in 1176 and completed in the 14th century. Benedictine religious Order of monks and nuns. Abandoned at the time of the Austrians and reactivated in the years 40 of the twentieth century. Beautiful, suggestive and characteristic.

  • The visit to the Abbey is reduced to the visit of a church. On-site Tourist information is almost non-existent. The Village is amazing in its sad fatiscenza, and ruined by waste abbamdonati here and the Rogge. Almost unknown to many, reduced promotion. A real shame!
