Beautiful rooms and exhibits well spaced apart. Beautiful frescoes (Crucifix with the Virgin and St. John 1345), monumental slabs, an abbey mitra deli 13th-XV in ivory and silver brocade with yarn gold and green silk embroidery. painted inn maiolica dishes from 1550, and the large room in memory of the tenor Tagliavini (as interpreter of operas in the major theaters of the world) with on display a wonderful and precious floor of the 4th century with stone tiles and leaf inserts Golden. Nice small exhibition space with some beautiful medieval and ancient roman artifacts.
Some pieces of valuable workfrom both Reggio and the province make it very interesting. The floor of the Roman Domus recently found under the apse of the cathedral, makes a beautiful exhibition of itself in the last room is simply beautiful. In the second room are very interesting the capitals of The Matildic age, a true example of the ability to sculpt the stone. In the initial room in addition to the ticket office (free entrance, if you want to make an offer) there is a fresco and a wooden crucifix of valuable medieval era.
