Chiesa di Sant'Agostino Reviews
يعتقد المؤرخون أن كنيسة القديس أغسطينوس بُنيت في الأصل في بداية القرن الثامن الميلادي. خلال الحرب بين مؤيدي ومعارضي البابا ، تم تدمير المبنى بالكامل ، لذلك قرر أولئك الذين تلقوا البناء كرهبان ليس فقط ... more »Historians believe that the Church of St. Augustine was originally built at the beginning of the 8th century AD. During the war between supporters and opponents of the Pope, the building was completely destroyed, so those who received the building as monks decided not only to reconstitute the church, but also to re-bless it. The new patron saint is St. Augustine, who survived under his construction sponsorship not only all political unrest, but also two major restructurings. In particular, the façade was changed in order to place on them the figures of the statue of saints. At home, attention should be paid to subtly executed churches.

Like most churches, it was later refurbished in the 1600s and 1700s in the Baroque style. The facade, all cooked, in which stand out two niches with the statues of St. William and St. Nicholas of Tolentino is of the eighteenth century. The interior to a single aisle, bright and scenic, with barrel and sail vaults dates back to the middle of the six hundred. It preserves some canvases by 17th-century artists including works by Guercino (left arm of the transept), Palma the Young (second chapel on the left) and finally, on the entrance wall, the oldest fresco "Madonna with the Child", dating back to the 14th century.
