  • First, choose whether to do it starting uphill from Positano or downhill from Bomerano of Agerola. if there was a possibility of a vehicle and I saw nocelles maybe it is better to avoid the 1780 downhill steps that have inflamed the tendons behind the knee. We did so, coming from Furose, there is the bus line crowded from Amalfi to Agerola. go down to the vicinity of the square from where the trail starts (it is well signposted). come down gently and occasionally go up, nothing challenging also because we had treking shoes but we were the only ones. I saw an eastern man wearing slippers, but he was dumb. We had our little dog with us and yesterday's reading was good that we did not meet the shepherd dogs, even if the scampanelle of the goats and their beanie clearly felt. Important info, there are several fountains along the way although we do not trust we brought supplies taken directly on the square where the path starts, they sell everything as well bananas. before the start of the staircase to Positano in nocelle there is a food point that makes excellent granite and squeezed lemon, but also bruschetta for those who are hungry. The view is beautiful but as many say after a while you get used to it, the luck is that there are various points in the shade because we have touched the hottest and hottest day of the year. having taken the bus from fury to agerola we had to figure out how to get back and the options are 2, buy tickets in advance and you stop at the foot of the stairway but you will find buses overflowing to agerola, or walk another km along the way and arrive in Positano , we did so, and took advantage of the super-crowded beach for a restorative bath and took one of the many ferries to Amalfi from there which is a terminus we took the bus to Agerola taking advantage of the free places being there 20 minutes before. who wrote that it took us an hour used paragliding because we used 4 including the lemonade stop.

  • We were unable to follow the path as we reached the top of a hill from which the path begins, we came across a stable of goats protected by 4 or 5 shepherd dogs. Having followed our border in we tried. Meanwhile, a group of Americans led by a guide who strongly advised us not to attempt being the shepherd dogs, quite aggressive. I felt so bitter because I really didn't expect it. Back to agerolA I came across with a veterinarian who told me that there are several assaults and not only to dogs but also to humans and I also discovered, still in the area, that the guides carry raudi in backpacks. It's all very absurd and the last culprits are just that shepherd dogs who protect herds and territory maybe they shouldn't be there, in a place that L unesco said is mine too. Memento
