  • I know we visited here too, just not sure if it is the one at the very top of the shopping street and hill. It had a stunning ceiling if it is the one I am thinking of and my daughter liked it...  more »

  • The convent surrounds the sanctuary with simple lines and with its two arms seems to mean that this is the home of the saint of charity. The oldest part, which the façade hides, is the arm in front of the Cucchiarella. What you see on the right side, along the boulevard, was built at the beginning of the SEVENTEENTH century. The left arm is the guesthouse. It is a very daring two-storey building, since it creates a bridge that overlooks the river and then extends beyond the other shore. A part of this building dates back to the second half of the SEVENTEENTH century, while the Apostolic School of the minimum Fratini was built in 1932. In most places of the conventual area there is a seclusion and therefore cannot be accessed.
