Ponte del Mare, a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, measures 466 m (1,528 ft) long. This makes it the largest such bridge in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe. It connects the northern bank of the Pescara river to the southern one. The views from the bridge impress visitors, and the lights at night sparkle. The southern bank contains few sites for tourists, so you may just want to return after crossing.
