  • The convent of Sant'Angelo in stage, or by the Archangel Michael. It sits on a hill near the city of Nola and was founded by Raimondo Orsini, Lord of Nola and Prince of Salerno. The construction was completed in 1430 about and given as a gift to Frati Minori dell'Osservanza. In the 17th century the Church was rebuilt by Reformed Fathers. The Church has a nave, on the left side there are five chapels, while on the right there are blind arches. The nave ends with a pointed arch beyond which there is the apse Vault. The cloister dating back to the 17th century Franciscan 15th century architectural schemes resumes has a rectangular plan with frescoes showing scenes from the lives of the Saints, works of 1840. At the center of the cloister is visible well coated with marble dating from the Roman period. The Bell Tower has a square plan and has Gothic elements, such as arched Windows ogive. In particular in the refectory of the convent of the Friars Minor is possible to admire an extraordinary fresco of the last supper that did talk, 1503 scholars painted by an anonymous artist, which has many similarities with the bestseller by Dan Brown that in Leonardo Da Vinci's last supper with Jesus there was the figure of John the Evangelist but to Mary Magdalene, considered by the bride of Christ.
