    This old medieval church is the last surviving remnant of Muggia Vecchia, the Old Muggia. Situated on the hill above the castle, it still has old frescoes from the Early to High Middle Ages. I was.....  more »

    I was there on a foggy cool day that gave the place an air of mystery and ancient intrigue. Inside there are many old wall paintings and carvings on the altar. The grounds are mysterious as well.  more »

    Medieval plant building, where you can breathe an atmosphere of serenity that stimulates recollection. The interior and the exterior are very interesting. The location is enviable, as only places of worship manage to have: one of the most spectacular views of the city of Muggia and the Gulf of Trieste. Large parking and pleasant park. Unfortunately or fortunately, it is not very busy, so it is very quiet and pleasant.
