Such an excellent idea, so glad I booked this. I booked myself, my husband, 14yr old son and 16yr old daughter for half day cooking class at Modicarte. Best thing I did. What fun, relaxed atmosphere..... more »

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a morning cooking with Maurizio and his father this week. We made bread and fresh pasta, followed by fish as the main and lemon puddings for dessert. It was all.... more »

Un posto incantevole, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Modica. Immerso nella campagna. Silenzio, pace, serenità, unito alla perfetta ospitalità del padrone di casa. Stanza sempre pulita ed ordinata. Sontuosa colazione con prodotti da agricoltura biologica, preparati in casa. Ottima base per scoprire tutti i principali siti del barocco siciliano, in val di Noto.

A lovely place, a short walk from the historic centre of Modica. Nestled in the countryside. Silence, peace, serenity, combined with the perfect hospitality of the landlord. Room always clean and tidy. Sumptuous breakfast with organic products, prepared at home. Excellent base from which to discover all the main sites of Sicilian Baroque, Noto Valley.

Posto splendido e rilassante, immerso nel verde ma a due passi dalla città. L accoglienza del proprietario è di prima qualità! Vi racconta aneddoti, vi spiega il passato ed il presente di Modica, per finire a coccolarci con la colazione Dell indomani mattina, ricca di prodotti fatti in casa e di ottima qualità. Per i più bravi, vi potete cimentare nella lavorazione della terracotta, infatti Modica Rte é anche uno splendido laboratorio di ceramica, sapientemente gestito dalla moglie del proprietario.

Beautiful and relaxing place, surrounded by nature but a stone's throw from the city. L welcome from the landlord is top notch! Tells anecdotes, explains the past and present of Modica, to cuddle with Dell next morning breakfast, full of home-made products and excellent quality. For the best ones, you can engage in pottery, in fact is also a beautiful pottery Modica Rte, expertly run by the owner's wife.
