Duomo di Messina is a Sicilian Norman cathedral dating from 1500, with a notable bell tower and clock. At noon, figures and statues move on the cathedral's tower. After suffering earthquakes and damage from World War II, the interior has been almost completely restored. Be sure to check out the painted ceiling and the 16,000-pipe organ.   • Really enjoyed wandering around here. Lovely cathedral. Beautiful inside. Clock tower was in full swing! Wish we found it earlier, we would have gone up. Nice little square to chill and have a drink. Highly recommended x
