  • Beautiful and interesting visit. Moreover, the explanation is really well done, and for any clarification we could ask the guy who has been very prepared, as well as kind and sympathetic. The idea of showing the dark crypt, discovering it (with beams of light) at times, is great, since it involves you slowly during the audio. In addition to the fact that it allows you to keep the beautiful frescoes inside. Only at the end you will have a total view of the crypt, but I assure you that you will already remain, much more, than satisfied during the visit (indeed maybe it is all the better). It is a mandatory stop to do near Matera (20km). It is also easy to get to the ticket office, according to some comments read previously. The only flaw, perhaps, is the little street, which seems passable with a single direction of travel. (to say though, that we did it in motorhomes, without problems)

  • And... you don't even need a comment. I invite travelers and travelers (I think DOVEROSO to put women in front) to visit this place, possibly in absolute solitude and absolute silence. IT will be the SILENZIO to talk about this place, which extols indescribable suggestions. The word... THEY DON'T HELP. Renato. From the wonderful Lecce.

  • Amazing 8 century frescoes. Nice explanations. Well worth making the reservation.
  • I need to admit that this place is not worth this price. Service is very professional, there are audio guides available in most popular languages, but you pay just to see one crypt where you are not allowed to take any pictures. Views around this place are outstanding, but you can get them for free. Better crypts that take way much more time and have more stunning things to offer are at the same price or just a little bit more expensive.
