The Villa Aldobrandini is a villa in Frascati, Italy. Still the property of, and still lived in by, the Aldobrandini family, it is known as Belvedere for its charming location overlooking the valley toward the city of Rome.

It is the only grand Papal garden not owned by the state.

  • Lovely place. I am a bit sorry that we could not see the gardens and the villa I side but apparently there are still people living there. It is a bit hard to find the entrance because there many private property signs and there was nobody to give us some information.
  • Unfortunately the villa was not open for visit. The building is beautiful but could use some maintenance and a new paint job. Nice view over the valley up to Rome and the vatican!
