Questo è quanto si è sentita rispondere mia madre, gentile signora settantenne, quando alla caffetteria ha chiesto un caffè perché stava male a causa di un brusco calo di pressione. Non solo il camerie... more »That is how much it was felt to answer my mother, kind lady seventy, when at the cafeteria she asked for a coffee because she was sick due to a sharp drop in pressure. Not only did the waiter answer that he didn't have time to take him to the table-he was arranging the chairs-but the bartender was also annoyed. Just for the record, the visit to Palazzo Pitti is blurred, on the other hand he visited the emergency room, promptly hurried called by the staff of the palace. Is this how the city of Florence presents itself to the tourist? Choose staff who wants to work with the public and with a minimum of humanity.
This place is definitely worth checking out. It's a long tour so make sure you mentally prepare your self. A lot of art work to see here and it's all beautiful. The significance of the rooms and all the details to are written every where. The views from some of the rooms are beautiful so make sure to keep a look out. Over all I thoroughly enjoyed checking this place out. Would highly recomend it.
We had an unexpected fantastic time at Pitti Palace! The grounds are just fabulous and there is plenty of uncrowded outdoor space to enjoy while savoring the beauty of the surrounding gardens, views, and landscaping. The part of the museum we saw was very nice with alot of amazing inlaid wood furniture and beautiful intricate ceramic pieces... DOUBLE BONUS... it was free museum day so all this splendor at no cost! Thank you, Florence!!! You are beautiful. I will never forget you!!
