  • The Church of St. Joseph, dedicated to the worship of the Archangel Michael, was formerly called "St. Angel Major". The very simple and austere exterior contrasts with the abundance of interior decorations. At a single aisle and with the barrel vault the church has considerable light stucco decorations not excessive or too impactful. Inside elaborate frames are depicted scenes of the life of St. Joseph and beyond, while bas-relief are described the three theological virtues. There are numerous relics on the wall of the main altar. There are many paintings and statues that enrich and make this oratory very interesting.

  • Behind the public palace there is the Church of St. Joseph (Dear to the city magistracy, seat from August 13, 1576 of Fri. Brotherhood of the S.S. Crocifisso and St. Joseph,) with a barrel vault richly adorned with manieristic stuccoes that in 1635 were to be gilded. The paintings of the Cialdieri, to which he subsequently put his hand the Patanazzi, depict the fundamental moments of the life of St. Joseph related to the figures (kings, patriarchs and biblical characters) in high relief that, placed within niches, they delay the space between the Scenes from the big squares. The central part of the vault is dominated by the charity which, between Telamoni, joins the other two theological virtues. While in the two side altars of the second half of the sixteenth century, with ornate stones of the Cagliesi Angelo and Filippo Finale, are the stucco statues of St. Joseph and of the Addolorata, in the main altar is the Archangel Michael of Lapis dated 1764, between two frescoes Seventeenth-Century of Girolamo Cialdieri.
