Cala Mariolu, Baunei

Was here a year ago and just had to post a review. The water is an incredible hue of blue and crystal clear. Honestly one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Tip: time your arrival to when the sun is shining directly on the beach but as late in the afternoon as possible. Why? So the water has more time to warm and the pictures you'll be taking have plenty of natural lighting. I came late afternoon and it was already darkening.

Amazing beach with crystal clear water, we went there in cloudy weather after main season, so it was not crowded at all. We were hiking there from Pireddu and back, good shoes recommended (even though we went in sneakers and we survived, but would have been easier with proper shoes). It is quite tough hike, not for beginners, make sure to have enough food, water and time to come back. Going back took us for about 3 hours. But definitely worth going!
