Parco Cavour, Ariano

4.3
#3 of 9 in Theme Parks in Province of Verona
Cool off at Parco Cavour, a large water park filled with slides and pools for all ages, including a sand-bottomed pool. There are spacious areas here with wide green lawns, so there’s always a place to picnic, and parasols and loungers are available. While the rides here aren’t too wild, there are also beach volleyball and soccer fields to enjoy. This park can be hard to find, so take directions when you go. • What impresses most about this water park are undoubtedly the green areas, huge meadows where you can walk barefoot as on a carpet. Unlike other water parks the Cavour is really small in size; Ideal for families and Grest, for example, as there is no chaos and reckless attractions of other parks. Really a nice and relaxing environment. There are also picnic areas, maybe a little poor bar/restaurant offer, but just know me you can arrange about it. Really recommended!!!

  • This place is a heap of fun! Especially for the little people. The slides are a little crazy but worth a spin for sure. You’ll have a lotta fun with the family!  more »

  • Summery: very nice and clean. Some child areas could be improved. I recommend it. Now for the details: This is an astonishingly well taken care of park. Very clean (though the toilets are mostly these French holes) and neat with several places for different kind of food or to picnic. They have lifeguards at every area. Big slides: there are two big slides. The kamikaze (narrow fast steep metal slide for 10years and older) which I did not ride and the iceberg which is rather fast and fun for many ages. There are a roughly 15 other small slides for smaller children (2-8) which are distributed in four areas. They have a restaurant, a fast food diner and a few bars (drinks and ice). Prices are reasonable. This was one of the few downsides for us: the fast food did not taste good (very salty fries, a hamburger with nothing on it but two tomato slices and one lettuce leaf...) When we were there it was probably at half capacity and we waited nowhere but the iceberg slide (2-5 min). The water splash area (forgot the name) for kids is a bit loveless.
  • You’ll find lot of positive reviews, and those are correct, it’s a nice place. Just I’d change the name of it, from “water park” to open air swimming pool. For people over 10 yo it only has 2 sliders (10seconds each) and 2 normal swimming pools. I’d recommend it for families with children under 10 yo, but other than that, I’m not recommending this, since it’s not a park, but nothing more than a swimming pool with acres and acres of grass.
