  • It is the largest trullo of Alberobello. Because of its size, 14 meters, it is called by all the Trullo Sovrano, although the real name until 1916 was the Tribunal of Pope Cataldo. The Trullo Sovrano is a private construction, not only by its size, but also by the architectural technique used. It is the only one with a double floor that can be reached by a ladder and was built using mortar to connect the stones, which is not typical of the Trulli (by nature the masonry of the Trulli does not have mortar!). Today it is used to show the lifestyle of the inhabitants of Alberobello, in the way they inhabit the Trulli.

  • Beautiful visit and especially interesting. A two-storey trullo, furnished as it once was, very quaint is worth a visit

  • Incredible all biologica restaurant with fresh ingredients that are grown on their properties. Fantastic, attentive (but not intrusive) service. Varied menu that completely satisfied all 4 of us. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
  • An interesting place. The interior garden was very lovely. The man who sell's ticket's is very bored and doesn't seems to care about the clients.
