The Galilee Mill is one of the gems of the ancient city of Nazareth. It is a family run business that has been handed down through three generations during over 100 years of operation. Jarjoura's reign of the building from 1905 saw the import some of the some of the finest machinery in Europe at the time as he spared no expense to see his dream of an extravagent spice mill come to life. Jarjoura worked tirelessly with his son Ilya to advance the mill from the age of steam, to diesel machinery, and then many years later, to fully electric motors.
Today, many people come daily to visit us, and are always in awe of the spectrum of colors and smells that ignite the imagination. Even the most timid cooks will be inspired to concoct there own special blend of herbs and spices.
We welcome you to visit us and step into a wonderland of herbs, spices, nuts, dried fruits, incense, oils, pulses, teas, coffees, and herbal remedies.

It is worth entering in any situation to be impressed, to learn and to see the variety alongside the history of the place. There is a small hall that displays ancient machines used in the back. Outside, in the back entrance, the new machines. It's worth seeing.
