Functioning as an important railway station for more than a hundred years, linking Jerusalem with the coast, the historic structure of The First Station Jerusalem serves a new purpose today as a cultural center and entertainment hot spot. Opened in the late 19th century, the station was abandoned in 1998 when that part of the railway closed. Visit the restored and refurbished complex to discover its lively marketplace, restaurants, and bars, or attend one of the live shows, festivals, and exhibitions the station often hosts. " אז הראנו לה את ... more »All of us came for coffee and cake. According to the menu (attached) we had to get the cheesecake with an ice cream cassette. But it came without We noticed something was missing, and we asked the waitress. She said, "Sure, there was no ice cream?" So we showed her the photography of the plate as she was accepted (the dish was beautiful and colourful, so I took a picture). After five minutes the ice cream arrived, but accompanied by the stupidest excuse: "The cake on the menu should come without ice cream, but they forgot to download it from printing." Really, have you also been wrong and don't take responsibility?
This is a great stopping point if you're going to the wall from Emek Refaim. It's also a great meeting point for groups of people. Many great restaurants. Nice people too. The outside decor and Ambiance could use a bit of work, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. To be fair, was there in the winter. Could be different in the summer.
Very nice place, generally speaking. Nothing crazy but pleasant. There's some decent restaurants, a couple of cool shops. There's stuff for kids, so depending on weather you want quite or crazy moods for your kids and spend money or go free - decide wether you wanna go there with kids.
