The Rockefeller Museum, formerly the Palestine Archaeological Museum, is an archaeology museum located in East Jerusalem that houses a large collection of artifacts unearthed in the excavations conducted in Mandate Palestine, in the 1920s and 1930s.
The museum is under the management of the Israel Museum and houses the head office of the Israel Antiquities Authority.

  • If you are into glass or crumbled building pieces, this might be your place. Inside are many many things, none of which were memorable enough for me to take pictures of. Table after table of objects.....  more »

  • Excellent museum... lost of things to appreciate from all different periods
  • Very place to visit bus number 1 brings you here from the central bus station and I really recommend you to come they have nice gates and old history you can spend one full free day in Jerusalem here and it's close to the old city 2 min walking
