The Baidun name has been involved with antiquities business since 1927. Approximately 90 years ago, Mahmūd Baidun founded what would become Khader M. Baidun Galleries in the city of Jerusalem. His love and deep knowledge made him one of the most prominent collectors in the region. Acting as an advisor to many dealers and collectors, his counsel was sought out by many.

His passion for history and collecting was passed down to his son Khader, who as a young boy would dig around the city walls looking for antiquities. Taking over the galleries in 1980, Khader’s integrity and expertise produced a great international expansion for the Gallery.

Today, the next generation of the Baidun family is equally committed to discovering treasures of the past for collectors and dealers. With a customer list ranging from world-leaders, prominent businessmen, museums and auctions, we will to assist you in creating the antiquities collection of your interest.

Baidun Galleries, located on Jerusalem’s historic Via Dolorosa, house a carefully chosen collection that distinguishes us as one of the country’s leading dealers in rare and exquisite antiquities. Specializing in all types of antiquities from the Iron Age to the Ottoman Empire, The Baidun collection contains works from every major Levant civilization: Canaanite, Phoenician, Israelite, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Persian, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Islamic.

  • We approached their store as we were interested in buying some sort of antique. Start telling you that they come to prestigious universities to buy, teaches you a dedication of a university professor of Barcelona that someday would pass by chance, says that you do not need to sell and without you know it has already put three things On top of the hand that forces you to buy. Samples doubts, you say you first have to investigate, Google and then goes to the second phase in which you lower 30% if you take it today. Seeing this and you say no, you'll come in another time and from there goes to insults type "I don't need people like you" "Go Away" and almost kicked you out of the store. I can't tell if it sells fakes or not, but education doesn't.
