  • Statue in front of the entrance to Trinity College, the Edmund Burke on a fenced grass area. It was designed in 1868 by the sculptor John Henry Foley. The politician and philosopher stands on a plinth of grey granite. He looks into the distance and has supported the right hand in the hip. Together with its neighbour on the other side of the entrance, the two form a successful reception to Trinity College.
