How very fortunate we are in Co .Mayo, Ireland to be able to enjoy this wonderful piece of history ; when sadly so many businesses of its ilk , are no longer operational . Not only can one view the exquisite rugs and throws being made here , but all styles , designs and colours , are there to be bought .Stylish , soft , beautiful ...they are now an integral part of numerous homes and loved and highly regarded by young and old. They act as a superb backdrop , for beautiful furniture , bed linen , delph , lighting and top quality ladies and gents clothing and accessories. When all shopped out , retire to their restaurant for delightful meals , coffees , cakes . One shouldn't come to Co .Mayo , with its many beautiful places to view , drive through , and enjoy , without going to Foxford Woolen Mills .
If you are in the Foxford area and you want to see something different, why not visit the Foxford Woollen Mills. A fabulous tourist attraction demonstrating how the Mill operated. They also have a well stocked shop featuring the products they produce.
