  • I have been to the the store today and I am taken aback by the kindness, helpfulness and knowledgeable service I have received. John, the shop owner, has made an introduction for me as to what the shop offers, hinting at the vast knowledge and experience he has in the area. I am very new to the hobby and my insight into fountain pens is rudimentary. I am sure, though, that here you can be helped at every step of the way, at every experience level. Shop also restores vintage pens which is an area I am interested in. There also seem to be pen enthusiasts visiting the shop who spend time there - thank you very much, Helen - and I got kind tips and insights this way as well. The shop seems to cater for a beginner as well as an experienced pen lover and that is reflected in the prices, too. That is good, because you can spend just a few euros for a dip pen or about twenty to thirty for a starter pen up to hundreds for the masterpieces. You can choose from a big variety of papers and inks. I have only touched on those, but I could try out the inks to see how they write, which is something you definitely cannot do online. I have found the level of attention, care and knowledge from John amazing. Young lady shop assistant, whose name I don´t know, was also very pleasant, professional and helpful. This store is an example of why places like this should be supported and treasured. This place is worth your time and money. I am definitely going back.
  • The staff here are amazing! Went in a little while ago with some pens I was left by my grandfather one in particular was really obscure no naming etc. The staff took one look and knew exactly what I needed refill wise I'll be taking another trip back in soon to see if they can fix up another old pen I have that could use some TLC well worth it!
