  • We stopped in to The House of Ireland as we were in Dublin for the day on a cruise. We had purchased several items including glassware, a scarf and a sweater. They have a great selection of quality items that are made in Ireland. The salesperson was very nice. We were cutting it very close to get back to the port to catch our cruise and we needed a taxi. She actually walked us half way down the street to show us where the taxis are located. When we got back on the ship headed towards Scotland we realized that there was a couple of holes in the sweater. This was not due to the quality of the sweater but due to the security device tearing the fabric. I had called from Scotland and spoke to Cieran about this situation. Due to being on a cruise we would not be returning to Dublin or any other Irish ports to exchange it. He went out of his way to take care of this for us and send us another sweater back to our home in New York. This speaks volumes as to the level of their customer service. If you are looking for quality Irish gifts to bring back home I would HIGHLY recommend that you stop in at the House of Ireland. Quality products sold by top rate salespeople!
